Getting Started
After you contact me about a commission, we'll discuss the particulars of what you want. I usually communicate via email or Facebook messenger, but we can also do it over the phone if you prefer.
I'll ask you what kind of design you'd like for your scabbard. Do you want a traditional or more fantasy-inspired design? What type of suspension would you like for wearing it? What colors do you want? It's okay if you don't know the answers to these questions; I'll be more than happy to help you design your scabbard.

After that's figured out, I'll send you a sketch of the proposed design. Once we agree upon the design and the price, you'll send me your sword so I can get started creating the scabbard.
I send progress pictures along the way so you can see how the scabbard is coming along. First, I build the wooden core based on the sword's exact measurements. Then, I do the leather work.
I'll send you more photographs when everything is complete. Once you're happy with the scabbard, payment is sent and I return the finished product to you.
