The Story So Far

I use wood and high-quality leather to craft scabbards that both protect swords and are comfortable to carry.

When I purchased my first sword, I realized that a good sword is expensive enough on its own; I couldn't afford a custom scabbard, but I also couldn't afford to leave my sword unprotected. After a lot of research, I learned how to create my own scabbard that fit my blade perfectly. I soon discovered I wasn't the only person looking for a cost effective alternative, and I've been making custom scabbards and other leather goods for myself and others ever since.

Steven Huerta

​I work with wood and leather to craft custom-made scabbards as well as the occasional non-sword project. When not working with leather, I'm a full-time physical therapist living in Jacksonville, Florida.

I love to work out, go camping, and compete in the occasional Highland Games competition.
